Frequently asked questions

  1. Will you make me throw things away?

    ?

Absolutely not! I will work with you to identify what (if anything) you would like to let go of. If you would just like support to organise and store what you have, that is absolutely fine. However if you do decide to clear out certain items, I will remove the items to donate to a charity shop of your choice. Items not suitable for resale may be taken to animal shelters, local schools or local craft groups. I do not hold a waste licence so cannot take away rubbish.
  2. I am a hoarder, can you really help me?

    ?

I generally don't use the term 'hoarder' as I don't find it helpful with regards to moving forward in a positive way. It's certainly true that you may display hoarding behaviour, but actually you can change your behaviour and lose the label you may have given yourself. I can definitely help you! I do not touch anything without checking with you first, and I certainly do not discard, remove or even move anything without your permission. My aim is to work with you to rebuild your confidence in decision making, reclaim your precious space and make your home functional and enjoyable again.
  3. How can you help me sell my home ?

    ?

Potential buyers will love looking round your home and imagining their future there if the rooms are clean and spacious. The best way to attract those offers is to make people want to live in your stylish, fresh space. We may start packing some of your personal items, so that viewers have a blank canvas and can imagine living in such a lovely home!
  4. How much will it cost?

    ?

Please see the service page for our rates, you may just need a one off session to focus on one room or a specific task, or you may wish to have weekly or monthly sessions.
  5. How will I keep things tidy?

    ?

The service will include us talking through strategies to maintain your new tidy clutter free space, however, if things all get a bit much, you can always set up a regular session with me, once a month to keep on top of things,
